Havaitsin tänän jälleen uuden sinkkisormiproteiinin ,RING ryhmän proteiinin joka luokitellaan ZFP kaltaisiin ja RING ryhmään (Really interesting novel gene- blokkiin) kuuluvan. Sillä on kaksi Zf rakennetta ja vain toinen niistä on RING-tyyppinen ja osoittautunut ratkaisevan merkitykselliseksi .

Koetan allaolevista artikkeleista saada käsityksen geenin normaaliuden tärkeydestä ja jos tässä proteiinisaa tai geenisäädössä on jotain vikaa tai puutetta, mikä tilanne kliinisesti ilmenesi ja jos on jo vahvistettua tautia, onko siihen mitään mahdollista terapeuttista vaikutustietä. Among these genes, zinc finger protein like 1 (ZFPL1) protein was
interesting since it was abundantly expressed in malignant prostates but
was almost absent in benign prostates. ZFPL1 expression was upregulated
by CT and androgens, and ZFPL1 protein was secreted by prostate tumor
cells through exosomal secretion.
